Position: Sales Manager
JUSTPALM.com is Africa's fastest growing & multi award winning Mobile Marketing, Rewards & Media Agency. We help big brands integrate mobile strategies in their traditional marketing, media & communication strategies to better connect, engage and convert consumers to customers.
JUSTPALM.com services global FMCG brands across Africa and have growing operations in the Middle East & South Asia region. We have offices in Johannesburg, Kinshasa, Nairobi, Dubai and New Delhi.
We are looking for Sales Managers with strong agency experience to build relationships with big brands and agency’s to work on new business and expand existing business. You will be working towards a strict sales target each quarter for commission above and beyond your basic salary with targets being revisited each quarter.
As a Sales Manager you are required to travel frequently within South Africa and potentially overseas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of a Sales Manager within Just Palm includes the following responsibilities and key duties:
Delivery of well thought out and prepared sales pitches to new and existing clients.
Approaches new clients through new leads, cold calls, existing relationships, promotional events or any other means of connection.
Trains themselves in various sales tactics to maximise the sales potential.
Hits and exceeds sales targets every quarter.
Maintains the relationship with the client through communication skills for potential sales and crisis management
Nurture the relationship with the client ensuring that the teams are delivering and exceeding on negotiated deliverables.
Be the primary contact for crisis management and deliver solutions in a quick and efficient manner
Drive the general team to provide excellent customer focused service.
Follow up on deliverables from the team and keep a birds eye view on all projects running
Presentation and reporting
Prepares unique, tailor made pitches and presentations for potential and existing clients based on client research and product knowledge.
Ensures that all presentations and reports are delivered with a high degree of accuracy making little to no ‘guess work’.
All presentations and pitches to be within the Just Palm.com CI guidelines and worked off templates or DTPed.
Prepares accurate and approved budgets for clients
Works extra hours if needed for major pitch work and client requested reports.
Working within a team
Co-ordinate and discuss sales targets and tactics with the team bringing a high degree of knowledge and expertise
Work seamlessly and efficiently with team members fostering a collaborative work environment
Ensure timely response to requests from team members on all deliverables.
Manage and follow up on delegated deliverables
Ad- hoc assignments designated to you that may not be part of your normal job description
Be proactive with your own learning and development to enhance your skills and experience
Develop new initiatives for best practice procedures within the company
Adhere to company policy and procedures at all time
Always ensure a full and comprehensive hand over document is submitted when on leave.

A comprehensive knowledge and proven experience of the sales and marketing industry
